Former Indian Test captain and legendary spinner Anil Kumble has
been appointed as the new Chairman of International Cricket Council
(ICC). He will replace West Indian legend Clive Lloyd.
Anil (41) is the second Indian to be appointed as the chairman. Before him Sunil Gavaskar has also remained as chairman of this committee.
ICC in a statement said, "The ICC Board agreed unanimously to appoint former Indian captain Anil Kumble as the new chairman of the ICC Cricket Committee".
