What is NFO??
.nfo (also written .NFO or NFO, a contraction of "info", or "information") is a commonly used three-letter filename extension text files that accompany various digital scene releases with information about them. Unlike README files, NFO files often contain elaborate ASCII art that nowadays can be viewed with dedicated NFO viewers, text editors with appropriate fonts (Terminus) or online in public NFO databases. How to open .nfo files??
1. Right click on "file-name.nfo" (any .nfo file)
2. Select "open with" and select "Choose Program"
3. Browse and find WorPad / NotePad
4. And check the box "Always use the selected program...."
